Vhusi Phiri is the Chief Executive Officer of BridgeFort Capital Group, a rapidly growing Southern African financial services platform with operations spanning insurance, savings & investments, credit, and funeral services. Under his leadership, BridgeFort Capital Group has delivered exceptional value—achieving an 8x return for its early shareholders, securing US$3.5 million in strategic investment from a listed South African insurer, and progressing toward a JSE AltX listing.
A seasoned entrepreneur and investment strategist, Vhusi previously co-built Cerrex Consulting, which he successfully exited to PwC South Africa, and grew Diaspora Kapita into an USD 8 million diaspora financial services portfolio. He is now extending this track record through BridgeFort Inc, a diaspora-led investment platform connecting global Africans to high-growth opportunities in financial services, infrastructure, fintech, and agriculture across Africa.
Vhusi holds an MPhil in Development Finance from Stellenbosch University; a First-Class Honours degree in Business Management & IT from the Catholic University of Zimbabwe; an Advanced Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers; and additional qualifications in Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management from UNISA.
